Cynthia Vergara MFT

I am a licensed psychotherapist (MFT 48660). I work part time in private practice and also conduct autism assessment at the Kaiser Permanente ASD Center in San Francisco. I am fluent in Spanish and have extensive experience conducting therapy and doing assessment in Spanish. My passion lies in working with teens and transitional age youth as well as adults in individual and family therapy. I also enjoy working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals and highly sensitive people. I completed my undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts at the University of Florida and New College of California. I received my master’s degree in counseling with specialization in marriage and family therapy at San Francisco State University in 2006. Since then I have worked in a variety of settings including La Familia Counseling Services, Huckleberry Youth Programs, Marin County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services and Kaiser Permanente.
